What should I expect when I come to visit Faith Church?
We are thankful that you’re thinking of visiting us. We are a fellowship of Christians who meet each Sunday to worship God by singing his praises, hearing the Bible read and preached, and praying to Him as our Heavenly Father. Our public worship is God-centered, biblical, joyful, and thoughtful.
Our teaching focuses on the Bible, proclaiming, explaining, and applying God’s word for salvation, faith, and life. We gather for worship as a fellowship on Sunday but we also believe worship embraces all of life and that what we hear in church should transform the way we live throughout the week. We strive to demonstrate the mercy of God in practical ways—watching over, praying for, and serving one another, and ministering to the needy inside and outside the church.
We uphold the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms as a faithful summary of what the Bible teaches. We believe that humanity has rejected God and plunged itself into rebellion against Him. But God in his love for us has given us his Son, Jesus Christ, and through trusting him we find both forgiveness and freedom.
We foster love and unity in the body of Christ, recognizing our mutual dependence on one another.
We are committed to service and evangelism. In word and deed, we aim to communicate God’s free offer of freedom and forgiveness in Christ to all people, both in the Rogue Valley and around the world.
We welcome you and your family to join us for worship in the name of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
